The Chemist - In conversation with A.A. Dhand

Following the success of his Virdee books, recently filmed for BBC tv, renowned crime author A.A. Dhand will be here talking about his brand new thriller, The Chemist. Set in the seedy Leeds underworld, it features pharmacist Idris Khan who gets caught up in a turf war between rival drugs gangs. Amit will be here for a Q&A and will sign books afterwards.

The Eights - an evening with Joanna Miller

Joanna Miller's novel follows the lives of four young women - Dora, Beatrice, Otto and Marianne - as they navigate the bastions of male privilege and learn about life as undergraduates.

An Evening with Northodox Press

Join authors A.D. Bergin and Angharad Hampshire to celebrate our Independent Publisher of the Month for July, Northodox Press. Bergin's historical novel, The Wicked of the Earth, examines the persecution of women suspected of witchcraft in the 1650s, while, in The Mare, Angharad Hampshire tells the incredible story of Hermine Braunsteiner, a concentration camp guard whose past only came to light after her marriage to an American.
Both authors will be discussing their novels and taking questions from the audience.
